How much does a ride cost?
I have four different ride options:
10 min. for $35
20 min. for $55
Town & Country 30-35 min. for $90 (Reservation only)
Picnic Basket Tour - 30-35 min w/food platter and beverage for $145. (Reservation only)
These are credit card prices, if you pay with cash there is a $5 discount.
What is your operating season and hours?
It is all variable subject to weather and holidays but typically I operate March-Dec.
I am out most Fridays and weekends. Also other days during the week as we enter the busier months of May-Nov. I post on my Facebook page, Brown County Carriages whenever I am coming out with specific hours. My average daily range is 12:00pm until 5:00pm. Changes for heat/cold temps are made and also provide some evening rides in fall/holiday season.
Is the price per ride or per person?
The price is per ride, I do not charge per person.
Do you take reservations?
I am typically first come, first serve with my two shorter rides and then reservations only on my Town & Country 30-35 min ride, and Picnic Basket Tour.
However I will reserve shorter rides for other exceptions, please contact me (Kayleigh 765-516-4865)
How many people can you take on carriage at one time?
I can take up to 6 people on carriage, I like to say 4 adults, 2 children comfortably.
Sometimes I will operate 2 carriages at a time for groups if I have help available. Call for specifics. (Kayleigh 765-516-4865)
Are you handicap accessible?
Unfortunately there are two steps up into the carriage so it does make it difficult for those with limited mobility. May call or message me for more information and specifics. (Kayleigh 765-516-4865)
Are dogs allowed on carriage?
Yes I do allow dogs on the carriage as long as they are quiet and well behaved and can fit on the floor of carriage or in a lap. (Can not take extra large dogs such as Great Danes etc.)
What are your weather stipulations?
Weather is something I can be hit or miss on. As a rule I don't like to risk inclement weather, as the safety of my horses and passengers are my top priority. I do not operate when it rains, storms, snows, in high wind conditions, high humidity(summer) or in temps rising into upper 80s or lows into 30s.
